  1. Amy says:

For the first question I got soft and smushy.

  2. Alana says:

His body feels solid. He’s is a muscle man with a dry, corse coat.

  3. Jen says:

Jackson scampered right up, yipping, tail wagging, with lots of energy! He said his body felt, “energized, always going.” I sensed bigness and saw his tail wagging. “I’m a great big dog full of love.” I sensed endless love emanating from Jackson and could feel the energy he spoke of.

  4. Belinda says:

    jumpy, bouncy, full of energy

  5. Julie says:

soft fur, lots and lots of energy, so happy and wiggly

  6. Ellen Dana says:

Jackson says his tummy bothers him. It feels hard and too full. Sometimes its hard for him to wait to go potty outside.

  7. Marion says:

He is very happy and smiling. Full of energy and ready to play.

  8. brenda says:

He feels tight….and maybe a little anxious….he loves to run in fields with long grass….he doesn’t like being left home alone….he feels everyone is too busy…..his man owner wears ball caps….there is a cat in the house….they live in an apartment….they leave the radio on for the pets….he would like the knot in his tummy to go away.

  9. Barbara says:

I feel like Jackson likes to lift his left front paw a lot in play and to get people’s attention.

I also felt a little stomach discomfort when I thought of him but it might have been because I saw what the other people said.

  10. Cole says:

Not so well. Above the throat it hurts a little bit every couple of minutes. His collar may be too tight.
He’s sad to not be near his family (his dog mom and dad, brothers and sisters)

  11. Kari says:

He has a full belly and strong legs and good breath. There is a left shoulder or paw joint that feels a bit tender. His nails are long and feet a little dirty, but it doesn’t bother him!

  12. Sandy says:

small, compact, full of energy, he has a lot of flexibilty

  13. Julie Cefalo says:

His body feel solid with soft fur but a bit straw like in parts…very thick..more furry on the underside and strawlike (prickly) on the ends

  14. Joe Polivick says:

Image: Jackson greets me and knocks me over.

My guide suggests that to find out what his body feels like, go into his body. I ask Jackson if that is ok, and he says “yes.”

    I experience the following:

–>I’m sliding on the floor and can’t stop myself.

–>I hold my mouth open so someone can squirt something yummy into it.

–>I barge through a tangle of legs to get to my water bowl in the kitchen.

–>I roll onto my back and kick my legs wildly through the air.

–>I drop to the floor and sigh–I’m tired.

    –>Now I’m tired and sleepy–I sleep.

  15. Sal Birch says:

I get the impression that his body is young but sturdy. I haven’t picked up anything unusual about it. Soft, fluffy puppy fur…..
He seems brimming with energy and I get the impression that he has sparkling eyes.
Something tells me he ‘smiles’ through his eyes as well.

    Hi Guys-
let’s look at some of the themes here:
    soft, strong, wiggly active
    upset tummy
energetic–almost so much that he exhausts himself and has to take a break
    lots and lots of fur
    doesn’t like being alone.

These are great comments everyone! Things that I would like to point out:
    1. Not everyone is going to get the same answer to the same question. This is because Jackson connects with each person in a unique way.
    2. For those who got info about the stomach, next time around, it would be great to take it a little further. Ask him “why is your stomach upset?” This would be helpful info to know.
    3. With a puppy, you often have to play 20 questions. They aren’t always just going to offer up tons of info, so asking more questions sometimes helps too!
    4. Julie Cefalo-what you got from Jackson about his fur was great! It is both soft, but also prickly (kind of a combo of what everyone else got). Nice job!

  17. Carol says:

Hi – I’m Jackson’s “human” – thank you to everyone who participated in this! It was very insightful! And thank you especially to Danielle for selecting Jackson!
I wanted to comment on a few things
1 – Jackson was only 3 mos. old when he arrived in March, and was 12 lbs. He’s up over 30 lbs now. Jackson is very much a “muscle man” and his coat is very coarse in some places (soft in others). He has “crazy fur” the way it varies from place to place!
2 – I thought the “ball cap” comment was interesting. He usually gets two walks each morning before I go to work, and I usually wear a baseball hat for those walks.
    3 – He’s extremely wiggly!

  18. Sarah says:

I’m still getting used to it – it’s fun, fluffy and cute. Everybody loves me and it feels such fun to be alive. My legs get a bit confused, but it’s sometimes better to roll than to run.

  19. Alexandra Hopkins says:

Very alive. It doesn’t really feel like anything because nothing wrong with it. Just a lively source of bouncy energy. Then, it gets tired and I sleep.
